Richard Wilson (Business Development Manager at DatacomIT) is pleased to have presented at the Digital Access to Collections workshop in Albury yesterday. Richard provided attendees with digitisation and expert advice, focusing on the importance of digitising historical material and how to go about starting the digitisation process.
The two day workshop is aimed at the staff and volunteers from small to medium sized non-metro collecting organisations or bodies, including galleries, libraries, archives, museums, historical societies, indigenous keeping places and community groups.
The workshop provides information, training and advice for organisations at any stage of their digitisation process on their way to providing digital access to their collections.
Let’s secure the past for the future together.
