DatacomIT is proud to announce the launch of ‘Celebrating Waverley,’ which went live this week. Waverley Council New Digital Archive site Celebrating Waverley | Waverley Council Library (nsw.gov.au). Whether it’s the Lifeguard Oral History project, Festival of the Winds or remembering the Black Sunday Mass Surf Rescue event, there is something for everyone in this fantastic collection of Waverley’s history!
DatacomIT worked closely with the Waverley Council Library to digitise its local collections and assisted with the implementation of Recollect to make these unique historical collections available to the community online.
By implementing Recollect, Waverley Council Library have provided access to hitherto unseen local history as well as managing, preserving, and sharing important cultural heritage.
