DatacomIT is thrilled to be presenting at the Digital Access to Collections Workshops across regional Australia

DatacomIT is honoured to have been invited to present at the Digital Access to Collections Workshops organised by GLAM Peak –  the peak representation bodies of the galleries, libraries, archives and museums sectors in Australia.

Ten workshops will be delivered in regional centres across Australia, targeting small to medium collecting organisations to increase their confidence and knowledge of digitisation and digital access. The workshops are aimed at the staff and volunteers from small to medium sized non-metro collecting organisations or bodies, including galleries, libraries, archives, museums, historical societies, indigenous keeping places and community groups.

The workshops across regional Australia give attendees the opportunity to participate in training focused on digitisation and the provision of digital access to collections, Q&A’s with leading technology providers and the chance to network with other GLAM organisations.

Richard Wilson (Business Development Manager at DatacomIT) is thrilled to be presenting at the workshops and will provide participants with digitisation and expert advice. Richard Wilson will focus on the importance of digitisation and the digitisation process – a topic he feels strongly about. Therefore, if you’re part of the GLAM sector and located in regional Australia, please contact Richard Wilson on 1300 887 507 or email enquiries@datacomit.com.au to find out about the advantages of attending a FREE workshop.

We look forward to many exciting, productive and educational workshops. Hope to see you there!

Let’s secure the past for the future together.
